Katelynn is now 11 months! She is walking everywhere. She loves to follow Cassidy and they always run into each other's arms. She is still nursing, loves to eat lots of foods, loves Cassidy, loves when Daddy puts her to sleep, loves swim class and loves to read books with flaps that hide pictures. She loves to be outside exploring and to swing at the park. She is still laid back and happy 100% of the time she is with me and is still very shy around anyone else.
We love her so much.
Now a few cute ones of the girls together. :)

Walking & September
The end of August Katelynn turned 10 months old. I was in California and she started officially walking. She took steps when she was 9 and 1/2 months but when she turned 10 months she officially was walking all over full time! It was very exciting!
At 10 months, Katelynn is finally loving her Daddy!!!! YAY!!!! She will walk right up to him and want him to pick her up over me, he puts her to sleep every night for me and she loves to play peek-a-boo with him. I am just so happy because it was sometimes a rough 9 months for him. I love watching them interact now and I love getting a break! Katelynn still loves to nurse but if she is at school she just wants food not bottles. If it is not straight from the source she will pass and eat more food. :) She plays peekaboo, waves starting to sign "more" "please" and "all done" and is starting to blow kisses. She likes to dance and says a few words like mama and dada but to no one in particular. Cass the other day said she cant talk but she can go 'bababa". :)
September has been busy for us as we transition into fall activities. No more pool but both girls are back in swimming and Cass is also playing soccer and soon will start gymnastics.
Here is what we have been up to in September.
If I take my eyes of Katelynn for one minute she is most likely getting into something like a bag of chips in the pantry then spilling them then attempting to eat them.
We now live near the high school so we have become greyhound fans. I got some hand me down school clothes and we go watch the soccer teams and football teams. Go Hounds! :)
We are excited to see what October brings, I LOVE FALL!

If I take my eyes off both kids for a minute they are probably taking all the q tips out and putting lotion all over their bodies! Oh boy!
We went to the WSU Football game. They actually won which was awesome!
We have been cooking and baking!
The girls are always thrilled to see their Daddy when he comes home from anywhere.
We went to the county fair. Cassidy wanted to ride all of the roller coasters. She is a little daredevil and it is so cute to see the excitement on her face.
Katelynn loves playing with lots of new toys. She was learning how to put the coins in the piggy bank.
Aaron is a really fun dad and is always doing crazy fun things with the girls.
We had to make Christmas cookies in September as a reward for Cassidy going to bed in her bed AND staying in her bed all night! We are trying so hard to get her to do this so we dont have any nighttime visitors. Good job Cassidy!
Lastly we are busy busy with new sports. Cassidy is loving soccer and is doing great at it!

August 2012
August was a VERY busy month for us. Katelynn turned 9 months old at the end of July. At 9 months she pulled herself up, cruised around and was loving eating.
At the beginning of August was my birthday. I turned 27 which is not very exciting as it sounds old close to 30. But I will make the best of it. I think it will actually be a great year. I love my kids, my husband, my new house, my job and I plan to just enjoy watching them grow and learn. I hope being 27 helps me mature, become more patient, more kind and less type A though I doubt that. :)
I had a great day, my husband got me two cute aprons which is what I wanted! I am obsesses with cooking and baking so I want to look in the kitchen. :)
For my birthday I wanted to go to the river, get a tan and just play in the river. It was so fun and I am so happy we went.
In August we spend a LOT of time at this pool. I am obsessed with it. It is the perfect summer activity. It is shallow so I dont have to worry with Cass and I love the slides, tunnels, fountains etc.
We got a new play kitchen from our neighbors and put it in our playroom which is so much fun to hang out in.
We spent lots of time at the park down the street. The kids love the park!
Sadly in August, Aaron's grandfather passed away. He was such a wonderful, sweet and kind man. He loved watching football and reading the bible. He had been married to Aaron's grandmother for almost 61 years. We are sad for her because we know she misses him every second. However, we feel happy knowing he is in heaven looking down on her. I could write stories on here all day but I will just post two of my favorite pictures of him.
Cass loved spending time with her cousin, Mallory.
It was a hard time but we were also so thankful to spend time with Aaron's extended family and for our girls to spend lots of time with Mallory, their Grandpa Johnson and Auntie Courtney.
At the end of August, Aaron went to Seattle for 2 weeks for Banking School so I went home to California to see my family.
California was awesome. The pictures are pretty self-explanatory. My trip consisted of:
airplane flight with 2 girls by myself, swim lessons with my mom, walks with Cass and Grandma who are pretty much BFFs, swimming with family, bonding with Hazel, going to the Giants game (they won!), eating good food including my dad's cooking and In-n-Out, visiting with lots of friends and dance parties!
It was a busy August!
