Summer 1, 2, 3

We have been up three main things this summer. We do lots of other things such as play, read, ride our tricycle etc but mainly we do 3 things.

#1) We still work. Unlike most of my extended family and all my teacher friends, Aaron and I do not have shorter hours or summer breaks. So we have still been working. Aaron has finally been working only 25 minutes from our house!! It has been amazing, he is actually home again every night! We are hoping he gets transferred to that branch full time in September! Woo hoo. Cassidy still comes with me to work in the afternoons. She may have to go to school full time once the baby comes but for now she still does awesome! She still naps from 1 to 3 and then does great from 3 to 4 until we leave. She loves to get the mail with my coworker, push her baby around the office, chat with my coworkers and watch videos on my computer. However, her favorite thing is to do her own "work" by using my work supplies. #2) We talk about and love on "baby sister." Cass loves to talk about baby sister and play with baby sister's toys such as climb in the jumper and infant car seat. She was thrilled to hear the baby's heartbeat at the doctor's office. Then she said to the doctor, "ok it is my turn, I have baby sister in my tummy too!" HAHA The doctor laughed really loud and said maybe next time. I am now a little over 7 months pregnant, 29 weeks! Update: craving cereal and smoothies, no name yet, loving feeling all the kicks and overall feeling good. My back has been hurting but I knew it would.

#3) We go to the pool and sit outside! We not only have a little pool in our backyard that we hang out in but we also go to the awesome pool here. Everyday after work Cass and I change into our swimsuits and play in the backyard. We go in the little pool, we sit at out table and read, we drink lemonade, we check our garden for veggies, we play bubbles and Cass hits the softball off of the tee! We also go to the awesome pool here like 2 days a week! I LOVE IT! I love just being in my backyard in the sun, there is so much to do - love it, love it, love it! See my nice grass that my husband takes care of so nice! Plus you can see my little garden too. I put in the border all by myself!

Here are pictures of the pool in our town!
Fall is still my favorite season but this summer has been awesome.

The Giants and The Pool

We spent the rest of our time in California at the Giants game and in my parents pool. The kids were very cute all ready for the game.

We stopped at the kids area where they get to hit a ball then run around these mini bases. Cassidy and Donovan both hit their balls pretty good. But when they were told to run around the bases they were quite confused and instead chased after their own balls as fast as they could. It was hilarious!!! They LOVED it!

Uncle John took them right next to the field before the game started.

The giants lost but we all had a lot of crazy fun!

The next day Cassidy played with Grandma and Grandpa.

She spent all of her time in the pool. She loved swimming on her own since she either had on water wings or a life jacket. It was so nice for me to just lay out in the sun since my dad and brother swam with the kids!

We had a great time and we are so excited because we are going back in 2 weeks!

California Camping Trip

Every year my family goes on a camping trip. Sadly, Aaron had to work but Cassidy and I made the trip to California.

Cassidy was thrilled to ride in the car next to her cousin Donovan on the way there. (She doesnt look thrilled in this picture but trust me she was.)

She jumped right into camping mode. First she made some "phone calls" by the water.

Then she hung out by the water and watched my cousins swim.

She made sure to sit by Donovan where they discussed whether to play catch or swim some more in their life jackets.

After all of that, she stopped for a drink and some play time with Donovan and Sage at the kid's area.

The next day after a good shower she went to pick up sticks and look for lizards.

She stopped by the play area again to blow the train whistle and see what Donovan was up to.

She spent some time playing with Alana.

She even made sure to annoy, I mean love on Marley.

She stopped by to see Sage who was all dirty from playing. :) Look how similar their hair looks!

We had a great time camping. I must say I was exhausted! I didnt have Aaron to take turns with so by the end of the three days I was excited to go to my parents house and just relax by the pool!
