19

Cassidy is now 19 months. 18 months was a little rough in the sleeping department since she has gotten 5 teeth in 1 month. (Another broke through yesterday!) When she was 18 months I wrote she had 3 teeth and now she has 8! Her smile is just so cute since you can actually see her two middle front teeth and two middle bottom teeth! She is FINALLY sleeping through the night again! We felt so bad for her, she has been in so much pain the last month! Can you imagine how much it must hurt to have teeth push themselves up through your gums? Ouch! We are hoping she can get a little break now and keeps sleeping happily and peacefully through the night.

You can see her teeth in the above pic!!! YAY for teeth!!

My mom came to visit a couple of weekends ago. It was great to have her visit. Cass loved it! Aaron was busy so my mom and I were able to spend lots of time together eating, shopping and going on walks to the park. Everyone needs their mom once in awhile! :)

I love 19 months!! Cassidy is so sweet. I love how she can express herself. I love that she likes to sit right next to you and grabs your arm to put around her. I love how she says "YEAH" (instead of no) to pretty much everything. I love how she wants to help put the silverware away and carry clothes to the washing machine then help fold. I love how when she falls she doesnt cry. I love how when she pretends to talk on a phone she always says "hi dada" even if he is sitting right next to her. I love how she plays peekaboo and puts her hands over her eyes and then peeks through two fingers. I love how she is independent. I love how she always wants to read. I love how she is indifferent about tv excepts LOVES watching Glee when they sing. I love how when I am laying on Aaron she has to climb up and lay in between us then grabs both of our faces so we can both kiss her at the same time. :)

Teeth

Cassidy has 4 teeth now! 2 molars, a front bottom tooth and a front top tooth! We are so proud of that since it took her soooooo long to get any teeth! She has a lot more coming as well! We have been big on brushing our teeth every night. She loves it. :)

The following dialogue is what I think she was thinking to herself or what she might be saying if she could speak in sentences.

"Hey, look it is me! Boy, am I cute or what?!?!"

"Look mama, I am brushing my teeth. Oh wait, this doesn't taste fruity enough... it needs way more tooth paste!"

"This doesn't seem to be coming out like it should. hmmm.... I may have to go to plan B."

"Sorry mama I was forced to go directly to the source. Trust me this is more effective."
She is hilarious. :)

Family Visit

Grandpa Johnson, our sister-in-law and our niece and nephew drove all the way to CA to visit last week. Cassidy had a wonderful time seeing her grandpa, her new baby cousin and her cousin Mallory. They were so cute together. Cassidy wanted to do everything Mallory did especially big girl things like sitting on chairs with no booster seats! Here are a few pics of the adventures we went on including going to the park, going to the zoo and going to the fair. :)

Great Camera, Great Girl

I take Cass to the park almost everyday after work. I love our little park that is always empty. It is like our personal park. :) Cass can go on every slide by herself even though it is the playground of the elementary school so those slides are meant from 5th and 6th graders. I love watching her so happy.

I took these pictures with my wonderful new camera (see my birthday post) of my wonderful girl.

Oh and last but not least, Cass had a LOT of fun in the bath the other night with her daddy. :)

Life can be stressful and hard sometimes but the majority of the time it is pure bliss. :)

Lentil Festival

My little town here in WA is not famous for much. However, the one thing we have is the National Lentil Festival! I have been going every year and this year was no different. On Friday night we walked downtown where they have the world's largest batch of lentil chili. It is sure delicious and they give you a huge amount for free. :) Plus they have tons of booths with food and different businesses.

Cass got a balloon. Well she got 2 since the first one escaped to the heavens.

On Friday night we went out to eat.

On Saturday morning we went to the Lentil Parade. It was so fun! The gymnastics place where I coached was in it plus the WSU cheerleaders and players plus the mayor etc. There was even a few floats. Cass loved getting to hear the bands and eat a tootsie roll that was thrown to her. :)

I sure love my little town. Dont think this is the only exciting thing here, in a few weeks is the fair! :)
