Happy Memorial Day! Spring is here!

It was so nice to have a long three day weekend! Aaron and I got the chance to build our new banister, work on the yard, walk to the park and bbq! Not to mention just enjoy hanging out together with Cassidy and relax. :) It was so nice to be outside!!

While we were building the banister, Cassidy spent some quality time with our other baby of the family, Rusty. This is my favorite picture of Cassidy so far because it really captures how happy of a baby she is!

3 Months Old

On May 15, Cassidy turned 3 months old! Cassidy now grabs at toys or stuffed animals, she loves taking baths, she blows spit bubbles, loves to babble and LOVES to smile. She squeals when smiling so we know she is close to laughing. :) She loves her mama and daddy and we love her more than anything. She has brought us such joy and happiness.

1 Year Anniversary!

On May 10, 2009 Aaron and I celebrated our one year anniversary. I cant believe it has been a whole year. I absolutely love being married! A lot has happened in one year. Since our wedding, we found out I was pregnant, we got our wonderful golden Rusty, we bought our first house together and then we had our beautiful baby girl Cassidy! I have a wonderful life and I am very thankful.

Happy Anniversary Babe! I love you! I cant wait to continue to share our lives together and celebrate a million more anniversaries together!

Cassidy's first professional photo shoot!!!

On April 18th Cassidy had her first photo shoot! She did really well considering I kept putting her places and bugging her to smile. She was not too fond of having to lay on strange props or get her outfit changed for no apparent reason. lol I dont think she will take up modeling any time soon but I certainly think she is cute enough to. She has already grown so much since these and has more hair. Nicole is a wonderful photographer, after the "challenging" photo shoot I was just hoping for one good one but I love them all! I just ordered my prints including wallet sized ones for all of our friends and family! I know there are a lot but I couldnt narrow them down any further!

She loves the Giants!!!! She cant wait for her first game this July!! :)

Oh and this last weekend Aarond I celebrated our one year anniversary and mothers day by having family pictures taken in these beautiful gardens. I am so excited because I think there are a ton of good ones! It was so warm and beautiful out. I will post them as soon as I get them! :) And I will be mailing out some of these pictures of Cassidy to all our family and friends soon!

2 Months Old-- April 15, 2009!

So Cass was 2 months old on April 15! Unfortunately they make you go to the doctor on that day to get shots!!! However, lets start with the good news, Cassidy was 11 pounds, 4 ounces. That put her in the 75th percentile. She probably weighs like 12 and a half pounds now since that was almost a month ago but that is her last official weight. Dr. Mike examined every inch of her and said she looks perfect, completely healthy! However, once he was finished the nurse came back in and gave her three separate shots, 1 in one thigh and 2 in the other. It was HORRIBLE, she cried so loud it made me cry too! It took 20 minutes to calm her down. She was so brave I was so proud! Anyway, after she slept for like an hour she woke up and was happy again! Thank goodness, I think the tylenol helped too.

At 2 months old, Cassidy loves to smile!!! She sleeps really well in her bassinet and now wakes up about every 3 to 4 hours at night to eat. She loves to stare at Cody and Rusty. She also loves to get read to and loves patty cake, the lady with the alligator purse, miss mary mack and other games and songs. She is shy and doesnt just smile at anyone... you have to work for it. Cassidy loves her mom and dad and we love her so much!!!

Oh, and when she was two months old all of her hair on the top of her head fell out but not any one the hair in the back or on the sides! She kind of looked like an old man who is bald on top but keeps his hair on the sides. I mean, she looked like the cutest old man in the world but still an old man. :) (It is growing back now!)

She also loves bath time. She never cries anymore!

Cassidy got a new toy... It is leap frog and it sings the A, B, Cs then laughs at the end. She absolutely loves it!! She will follow it with her eyes anywhere it goes. This is her reaction after watching it.
Now that Cassidy is almost three months old, her personality is starting to show. She can be a little shy. I think this next picture shows this.

She has the most beautiful blue eyes. Daddy and I love you Cassidy, dont grow up too fast!!
