6 Month Anniversary!!

So on November 10, 2008 Aaron and I celebrated our 6 month wedding anniversary! The best six months of our lives! I know some may say that is dorky but not us! Any reason to celebrate our love is a good reason to me. We went out to dinner and then to a movie. It was so nice to go on a date since those will be harder to come by in a few short months. Aaron and I are so blessed and happy in our marriage and we cant wait to continue to spend our lives together. 6 months married and 6 and 1/2 months pregnant. Wait a second.... never mind dont dwell on it. I was never good with math. :)

Our family is not complete without our dogs so we had a photo opportunity with them as well. They look a little possessed but you can still see how adorable they are!

Oh and I have to share this little story. I found this picture and it is so funny I had to post it. When Rusty was just a puppy we still lived out in the middle of nowhere and had all these chickens. We thought they were all hens even though some were huge. One was so big we called it "big ass chicken" or just "big ass" for short. Rusty and Big Ass were best friends. Anyway, we gave them away to our neighbor and then we were told Big Ass is in fact a rooster! It figures... So below is a picture I found of Rusty and Big Ass just hanging out playing. :) Oh life on the farm... people at work starting calling me a country bumpkin. Deep down I am still a Californian I swear.

Flowers!

I am so lucky! So after lunch, I discovered I had flowers on my desk! :) Everyone asked what Aaron had done wrong. lol He just sent me flowers for no other reason than to tell me he loves me! What a great surprise. :) Arent they pretty?

So this last weekend, Aaron and I took our dogs for a hike and of course I took a few pictures. It was so nice to just be out in the middle of nowhere again. (I miss living out in the middle of nowhere every once in awhile though not too often.)

Here I am with Rusty-the best dog in the world!

Here is Aaron with Cody... he is such a daddy's boy!

Pregnancy!!!

So like I said... Aaron and I found out we were expecting at the end of May. I had a rough first trimester but it was all worth it! I only threw up twice but of course I just felt like I could throw up at any minute all the time! (Is that too much information?) Anyway I was happy to be out of the first trimester and I was so excited when I started to show a little bit when I was 3 and 1/2 months pregnant. Some people have said you cant see anything but I completely disagree! :)

Ok anyway so everyone asks about cravings so in my first trimester I craved pickles. Very common or so I have read. In my second trimester, I craved cheeseburgers and lemons. Not together though... weird I know!

When I was a little over 4 months, I went to Chicago to see my grandparents! Anyone who knows me knows that I pretty much idolize my grandparents and it was so nice to see them. I miss them all the time and wish I could see them a lot more often. I love them so much!

I couldnt wait until my 5 month (20 week) doctors appointment because I knew I would find out if I was having a boy or a girl. Everyone and I do mean everyone (except maybe John and my boss) thought it was a boy. However.... IT IS A GIRL!!! Aaron and I are so happy!

Reaching 6 months (24 weeks) was very exciting for me because everyday she is kicking more and more! She loves dancing with the stars or so I think because she kicks when I watch it every week. :)

I not quite brave enough to post my recent bare belly pictures but I will attempt to work up the courage. :) I am so excited to enter into my third trimester now and I hope to continue to feel good as I do now. Oh and I am over my last cravings and am now enjoying pizza. :) Oh and I am craving my dad's spaghetti and meatballs! Send me some in the mail please dad! I just want to finish by saying that I am so grateful to have the most wonderful husband. Some people may say I have been a bit needy or hormonal during pregnancy but Aaron has never complained. I am very lucky!

A Little Background

So here is our story even though everyone who reads this will already know most of it. :) Aaron and I met in high school at Armijo. Aaron may tell you that he liked me from the day he met me... I needed to be won over a little. Either way, we were high school sweethearts and havent been apart a day since. Here we are at Armijo Grad Night in 2003

After high school, Aaron went off to Washington State University to be a football star/animal science major and I went to UC Davis to do gymnastics/history major. Being apart for 3 years was difficult but overall I believe it made our relationship stronger.

After high school I took a huge step and moved out of California for the first time!! Moving to Pullman, Washington was a big change for me. I now live in a small little town where it snows in the winter! I love it here though and at this point, Aaron and I wouldn't live anywhere else.

When I moved here I was lucky enough to get a great job where I continue to work today. I was also lucky enough to get to be here for Aaron's last 2 football seasons! Unfortunately, like myself Aaron hurt his back and had back surgery which ended his dreams of playing for the NFL. We now have matching scars. Here is the picture from his senior game.

Thanks to everyone who supported him throughout his career!

In December of 2006, I got the most wonderful Christmas present. Aaron asked me to marry him!! It was so romantic and I know I am the luckiest girl in the world. In March of 2008, my best friend/maid of honor Amanda and my mom threw me a wonderful wedding shower!

I had the most wonderful bridesmaids a girl could ask for. I love you all and I know we will be friends forever!

After my lovely shower, my wonderful brother and sister-in-law planned our bachelor/bachelorette parties!! It was a party Aaron and I will never forget! Good times!

Aaron and I got married on May 10, 2008! The day was perfect for us, we could not have asked for anything more. We appreciate everyone who came and helped in our big day especially my parents for paying for it, Aaron's dad for our wonderful rehearsal and all my bridesmaids for helping me with EVERYTHING including keeping me calm and organized.

After the wedding we went on our honeymoon to Hawaii. We just relaxed on the beach and enjoyed the fact that we were MARRIED!!

After the honeymoon, we got the best surprise of our lives! We found out we were expecting our first baby! Aaron and I are so excited and feel so blessed in our lives together. More on the pregnancy to come!

First Post!

I have decided to create this blog so that Aaron and I can have like an online journal of our lives. I also wanted to give some of our friends and family a way to hear about what we are up to and see current pictures without having to email everyone. I thought it would be one of the easiest ways for everyone to see pictures of my belly now and our baby later. :) I hope I am good at this blogging thing... this is mostly for you Amanda!
