Easter Sunday

On Easter Sunday we woke up to the sun again!! Cass put on her pretty dress!

Cassidy opened a little basket from Aaron and I. I am glad we didnt get her too much since my parents also sent a little basket in the mail which was so cute. Then we had an Easter egg hunt in our backyard.

We had a nice dinner and family time. It is so nice when Aaron is home. I miss him a lot during the weekdays he is gone so it makes me love the weekends even more. Especially when it is sunny out. Of course, I woke up yesterday to sideways rain and 40 mile per hour wind. UGH! IT is like 36 degrees now. PLEASE SPRING COME TO US! WE ARE WAITING FOR YOU!

Easter

We had a great Easter weekend. The weather has been sooo bad here and then on Saturday we woke up to the SUN!! It was awesome.

On Saturday morning we went to the town egg hunt. Cass loved seeing the Easter Bunny from far away but when I took her up to him she started screaming and crying. Needless to say I did NOT get a cute pic with her and the bunny. I guess he is only nice from a distance. lol

Cassidy was a pro this year. She loved finding the eggs and putting them in her basket. :)

When we got home we played outside! I just sat on our deck and tried to soak up the sun. It was only 62 degrees but to me it felt like 80!

That afternoon we died our easter eggs.

Cassidy learned patience while the eggs were drying. She took the extra time to sit on her daddy.

After they were dry, we brought them inside to decorate.

Best Friend

When I was younger I always hoped I would have a little girl someday. I just knew she would be my best friend. Dont get me wrong Cassidy can drive me crazy at times with her 2 year old attitude. But she is so sweet and loving. Especially with Aaron gone some nights Cassidy has been even more obsessed with doing everything with me. Her new thing is putting her forehead to my forehead so we are touching noses. She is seriously my best friend.

I cant wait for Spring to be here. I mean really really Spring. As in NOT 30 degrees and gray. Cassidy and I love to walk to the park after work and then BBQ w/ Aaron and sit outside at night. I just can't wait. Anyway, we had 2 days recently where the sun was out. It was still pretty cold but we were outside anyway as much as possible.

Cassidy is getting a little bit more girly now. lol She is still a tomboy like her mama but she does enjoy pretending to do makeup and toe nail polish. Every night when I am in the shower she hangs out in the bathroom and pretends to do her makeup. :) The other night I was painting my toe nails and she really wanted hers to be done too. She kept saying "Mama, Cassidy's turn toes." After I painted them she was thrilled! She shows everyone and anyone who will check them out. She also loves that we match. :) Melt my heart.

She loved taking feet pictures too. She was such the foot model. LOL

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AARON & DAD!

April Fool's Day is both my dad and Aaron's birthday! This was a BIG birthday for my dad! He turned 60! I have no pictures or exciting stories for his birthday because he just so happens to be in the Caribbean with my mom! What a lucky guy! I guess they have been having tons of fun, eating great food, snorkeling, scuba diving and relaxing! Happy 60th to my DAD! Aaron turned 26. Sadly, he couldnt get off work early like we had hoped. So while we waited for him to get home, Cass and I went to the park since the sun was actually out!

When we got home Cass and I made his cake. :)

Aaron didnt get home until after 8:30 so we had to eat cake and head to bed. He did get a nice card from Cass and one from me with a few coupons in it. He got a coupon for a back massage and to go out to eat since we couldnt go that night. Even though it wasnt all that eventful, we had a nice weekend as a family. Yesterday our friends watched Cass so Aaron and I were able to go out to dinner alone and then to a movie to celebrate his birthday. Isnt he so cute?

I wrote Aaron a card with 26 reasons I love him. I dont want to be too personal or boring for others so I will just list 5 of the reasons on my blog.

1. He is hardworking and really cares about succeeding in his career.

2. He cleans the cars all the time for me.

3. He loves the San Francisco Giants because he knows how much it means to me. 4. He is artistic and creative though most people may not know it. He builds the coolest structures out of blocks, playdough, forts etc. Cass thinks it is amazing. 5. He is trustworthy and a wonderful father. Happy Birthday BABE! LOVE YOU!
