Easter and Family Visit!

So my grandparents and parents came to visit over Easter weekend. It was such a great visit, I loved getting to show my grandparents Pullman. It is a small town but Aaron and I love it. It was so neat to be able to see Cassidy meet her great-grandparents. It was nice just being able to visit, not to mention my dad made great food especially Easter dinner!

Cassidy loved all the attention and love!!! We also went to Lewiston and took some family pictures. Too bad the weather wasnt better but it was still so nice to be together.

So I absolutely love to read and I love the library. I could spend hours in the library just sitting in an aisle, reading the first 10 pages of books trying to decide which ones to take home. I learned to love books and reading from my mom. My mom would read to me almost every night and also take me to the library and let me pick out any and all the books I wanted. I think this is the gift my mom gave me which I am most grateful for. I am trying to pass this love on to Cassidy and so when my mom was here I wanted to make sure she read to Cassidy. :)

Sunday was Cassidy's first Easter! This year we just took a few pictures in a dress, next year she will be ready for an egg hunt and a basket. :)

It was a great weekend, I am so happy and blessed my grandparents made the trip to our humble little town to see my life. I will never forget the weekend! :)

Amanda's Visit!!

So my best friend Amanda came to visit us here in Pullman! It was so wonderful to see her and show her around our small little town. Cassidy loved getting to meet her Aunt Amanda and misses her already! Amanda is soooo good with babies and it was so nice for Aaron and I to have an extra pair of hands. I even went to work for a day by myself which was nice to catch up on things I had been putting off. Plus, I am not going to lie it was so much fun to take a bunch of pictures. It felt like we were in high school again! :)

We have a million pictures together and I love it! If I saw her again tomorrow we would take another thousand! :)

It was also exciting to have someone to take pictures of Aaron and I. I do love self-portraits where you can see my arm holding the camera BUT it was so nice to have someone to take a few.

We gave Amanda the whole Pullman tour which took all of about 5 minutes. :) We took her to our old farm house which gave us a beautiful backdrop for more pictures.

We also took her to Lewiston, Idaho and the way down provided another photo opportunity.

We of course also took some adorable pictures of Cassidy!

Dear Aunt Amanda,
Thank you for coming to see me and helping take care of me! I miss you already! Please come see me again, you are welcome anytime. I cant wait to see you in July, you will be amazed at how big I will be by then! My mom wanted me to tell you thanks for coming to visit and for helping her so much! Love, Cassidy :)

Things Cassidy Loves!

So I thought I would do a post that is all about the things Cassidy loves at this time in her life. She changes and grows so much! Watching her reach milestones is so special and fun! Each day I wake up I am excited to see what she will do.

Currently she loves....

*Laying on her stomach to practice lifting her head.

*Hanging out on her changing table. For some reason she smiles everytime she is on her changing table. Not necessarily when she is naked or getting changed but afterward just laing there.
*Laying in her crib watching her Winnie the Pooh mobile.
*Her dad. She is truly a daddy's girl.

*Watching the fish swim.

*Reading... she is just like her mom.
*Listening to me sing and play games. (She is the ONLY one who likes my voice)

*SMILING!

*Meeting family and friends who love her!

*Her silly mama!
