11 Months

Im a little late with this post but Cassidy is now 11 months old! She will be 1 so soon! She is so sweet and active. Here are a few facts about her.

*Cassidy loves to dance (she dances like the penguins on Happy Feet. She taps her little feet really fast.)

*She gives hugs all the time, all you have to do is put your arms out wide and ask her for one. She is even learning to give kisses though hers are always open mouth kisses. lol

*She now walks over to her books, picks one out and brings it over to me and then sits on my lap for me to read it. I cried the first time she did that because it was so cute!

*She is always on the move, she loves to explore. She currently does not love to just be held when she could be walking anywhere she wants.

*She eats three meals a day. She is good about eating everything on her high chair.

*She still has no teeth!

*She only nurses at night and first thing in the morning since she believes big girls drink from bottles. Plus if she gets a bottle she can continue to explore and look around which is not possible if you are nursing.

*She thinks she is hilarious which she might get from me since I crack myself up. She is the life of the party and very social which she gets from my outgoing life-of-the-party husband. :)

*She makes Aaron and I very happy and of course is the love of our lives!

Silly Baby

So this is somewhat of a random post but I just thought I had to share these next pictures. Cassidy is developing such a personality and she has the cutest sense of humor. We have a fireplace and she loves to climb up on it, she knows she isnt really allowed so everytime she climbs up she just grins and laughs. Silly girl...

The other day she decided to "help" me fold laundry. She was helping and somehow this happened:

(Yes that is my bra around her neck... silly girl) She didnt even care, she just kept walking around... I laughed so hard!

Cassidy loves having a tall daddy. She thinks he is pretty funny, he was helping her almost reach the sky!

She works really hard at work now for example:

*She looks out the window to see if any clients may be coming. If anyone comes she is the first to greet them.

*She always offers to flip the fireplace switch on in case anyone is cold and would like a fire.

*She checks out the office furniture to see if it needs cleaning or updating.
*She points out decor she really likes. In this case, this weird fish we have.

*She always lets us know when work is boring or she needs a snack break.

*She checks under desks for us, in case someone has lost something under them.

*She sits at my desk and frankly.... does my job for me!

She is my future CEO!

Christmas and California Adventures

Christmas morning was wonderful. We were lucky that both my brothers, their wives and babies came to my parents house and we all got to open presents together. It has been a couple years since this has happened and of course the first with all the babies so we were all excited.

Cassidy tried to give Donovan a Merry Christmas hug but maybe he thought she was trying to bully him so he defended himself in his only possible way... with his teeth! Or maybe he was going in for an open mouth kiss. Or maybe he was bragging that he has lots of teeth and Cassidy still has NONE! Your guess is as good as mine. :)

Christmas morning, with all the babies in their cute pjs! Getting ready to open lots of presents from Santa! Aaron got a snuggie at my family Christmas Eve party the night before. He actually loved it and wore it pretty much all Christmas day! Plus we now have it at our house and he uses it all the time! He should be their new spokesman, he could say something like "Even tall ex-football players will love it!" LOL Oh and Cassidy loved all her presents as well! Here is James with Sage, she got a lot of great presents too! Dont they look so similar in this pic?Cass got this adorable hat and jacketcombo from John and Laurie. It is so cute and warm!

After we opened the presents, my brothers went to their respective in-laws. The rest of the day we really just relaxed. We went on a walk with my parents and Cassidy went down this slide that my dad has. She absolutely loved it!
Aaron, my mom and Cass goofing off.The rest of the weekend we just hung around with family. Here I am playing with D.We also got the chance to see our friends Mike & Angela. Angela is pregnant with a little girl, Cassidy and their baby will be such good friends. I am so excited!

We also went to the mall and visited with Aaron's dad, sister-in-law and our niece Mallory.

Cousins. Mallory doesnt love pictures but it is still a cute photo! Mallory loves Cassidy and it is so cute to see them interact.
We went on the merry-go-round at the mall and Cassidy loved riding the horse!
We had a great trip! We miss CA but I already have plans to come home tons in 2010. So far I am planning to come in March, May, July, August & December! I think its important that Cass gets to see her grandparents, cousins, uncles and aunts! It doesnt hurt that I also get to see my family and friends too. ;)

Christmas Eve!

Christmas Eve was so nice this year. I loved getting to see all my family. Getting to see my grandma, parents, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins was very fun. Plus Cassidy got to play with all her cousins.

Everytime you say "ahhh" she would walk to Donovan and give him a big hug. It was just so sweet, she loves him!

We took lots of family pictures since we were all together and dressed up for Christmas Eve. :) Here is my brother John's adorable little family.

I didnt really love the pictures of my little family but I did think this one was pretty sweet.

Lots of my cousins were playing blackjack in the garage and of course my brother was being a bad influence teaching Cass to gamble. lol

Cass loved playing with her cousins. Here she is with Donovan and Alana (my cousin's daughter). It was a fun night! We were all exhausted at the end of the night. Plus we had to get to bed early so that Santa would come for the babies first Christmas!

Home for Christmas

So we went home for Christmas this year! I was so excited because last year we didnt due to the fact that I was hugely pregnant. Plus I was really excited because it was our first time getting to see our newest little niece, Sage!

Since we were flying out on Christmas Eve really early we drove to Spokane on the Wednesday night and spent the night in the hotel by the airport.

Cassidy was exploring the hotel room. She is my little "Eloise." :)

After finding where the ice machine was located (like I used to do), she contemplated ordering room service. ;)

We had some time to kill in the airport in Seattle so Cassidy had a little snack and some water. She also ran around the airport as we chased her. She did pretty well on the flights. It was SO MUCH easier with Aaron with me to help! I would give Cassidy a A- on the flights. She slept most of the time!

Once we got to CA, we had to go straight to my aunts house for my family's annual Christmas Eve party. Cassidy was happy to see everyone but especially her cousin Donovan. She gave him like 50 hugs it was so cute!
