We have been busy exploring Washington. We love the outdoors. Last Friday we went down to where Aaron's grandparents live to see his Grandpa who has been in poor health. It was great to visit. Plus it was beautiful there so we went to the park on the Columbia River. We bought Cass a kite and we were excited to fly it.
It wasnt quite windy enough for the kite so we spent a lot of time playing.
Here is a picture of Aaron, his cousin and their grandpa. He is so sweet and I hope he gets stronger and healthy once more.
When we got back to our house it was plenty windy so we went to the edge of our town and fly the kite. It was so windy all we had to do is sit on the back of the truck and hold the string. :)
The next day we went for a drive out to the mountains. We stopped at this campground park at the base of the mountains and flew our kite again.
Katelynn and I watched. :)
Aaron and Cass went to explore the creek and look for beavers, deer and other animals. They didnt see any of that but we did see turkeys and a peacock!

As the weather gets better we cant wait to get out and hike and camp!!
