13 Months

Cassidy is now 13 months old! Turning 13 months was both good and bad for her. The good was getting to spend a lot of time at the park. She loves to go up and down steps or banks or little hills. She realized that if she starts at the top of a hill and runs down her daddy will catch her. She did this about 20 times. :)

Unfortunately her running can cause injuries as well. She did a face plant on the cement and cut up her nose really bad. It bled for so long but she stopped crying after a few minutes. She is so tough. Here is a picture shortly after it happened.

This was her first real "boo boo". We felt so bad for her! It broke our heart to see her little nose bleeding so much!

After a few days it got a big scab on it. It now actually looks worse but it is healing and she is as happy as can be again.

Once I started taking pictures she became fascinated with the camera and the flash which pops up before you take a picture. She wanted to help me put the flash down and thought the whole thing was very amusing.

A few random facts.

At 13 months:

*She can say fish, duck, dog, mama, dada, car and no

*She is learning to blow kisses

*She is a good sleeper at night which if you know me well you know that this is a huge achievement!
*She loves to read.

*She still loves her binki and always seems to know where it is even if I hide it. However, she is not attached to any blanket or animal.

*She still has no teeth!

*She thinks she is hilarious and loves when you repeat everything she does.

*She loves to be outside no matter if she is in her stroller, bjorn or running free!
