My "Surprise" Trip Home

So I went home last weekend to "surprise" my brother James and my sister-in-law Melissa to see their new baby. Well... all did not go as planned. First of all there was no baby for me to see, in fact, despite being 2 weeks overdue there wasnt even any labor. Second of all my dad told them I was coming so my brother wouldnt work so I could see them. Honestly, I was little sad that I wouldnt get to see their baby. I love living in WA but sometimes I wish we lived a little closer so we could come home easier to see my nephew and soon my other nephew or niece. :)

Anyway, I decided to have tons of fun anyway. On Saturday, Cassidy got to hang out with her best friend Donovan!

I loved getting to hang out with John, Laurie and Donovan! Then on Sunday, my dad and I drove to Sacramento to hang out with James and Melissa. It was so nice to hang out with them. James is so good with babies/toddlers/kids. He is just a natural and Cassidy was no exception. She loved her Uncle James, not to mention they still look very similar!

Then my best friend in the whole world stopped by! I was so happy to see Amanda! Cassidy has so many people in her life who love her!
